All The Pretty Little Horses (Hush-A-Bye) – Lyre Notes

Learn how to play the lullaby “All the Pretty Little Horses” on the lyre harp by watching this tutorial. This song is also known as “Hush-A-Bye”. The notes are written in the video and can also be downloaded on my Patreon page as a PDF file alongside the lyrics.

Tuning instructions:

This is a 16-string lyre in the video. Tune the strings to the following notes:
G, A, B, C D E F G A B C’ D’ E’ F’ G’ A’

or sometimes written as:
G3 A3 B3 C4 D4 E4 F4 G4 A4 B4 C5 D5 E5 F5 G5 A5

To play using both hands:

Just like in the video, the dominant hand plays the melody while the non-dominant hand handles the bass notes. Practice each part separately before combining them to create a cohesive performance.

Have fun playing! 😃
