Special tuning is required to play this song:
- Tune the D string to D# (D sharp)
- Tune the G string to G# (G sharp)
As a result, the 16 strings are tuned as follows:
G, A, B, C D# E F G# A B C’ D’ E’ F’ G’ A’
or sometimes written as:
G3 A3 B3 C4 D#4 E4 F4 G#4 A4 B4 C5 D5 E5 F5 G5 A5
To play using both hands:
Simply assign the low notes to one hand and the high notes to the other.
